Zachy Gross

Born in Boca Raton, Florida, Zachy spent two years at Yeshivat Sha’alvim before coming to Yeshiva University, where he is now a Sophomore majoring in Political Science and History on the pre-law track. On campus, he’s involved in the Clarion, YUNMUN, the YU Undergraduate Law Review, YUPAC, and Mock Trial. Outside of that, he pitches for the YU Maccabees, is an advisor for NCSY Boston, and you can usually find him in the kitchen cooking.

Chloe Baker

Chloe is a Senior majoring in Political Science, focusing on international relations and security studies. She is Senior Opinions Editor of the YU Observer and a Resident Advisor on the Beren campus. When she isn’t dedicating time to one of her above commitments, she can be found reading articles on current events, going for walks around NYC, drinking iced coffee, and checking out customers in the 245 cafeteria.

Eli Rubin

Eli Rubin is your Managing Editor of the Clarion! Hailing from Teaneck, New Jersey, Eli is currently in his last semester at YU, majoring in Political Science and Jewish History. In his downtime, he enjoys reading and spending time with family. He plans on attending law school this coming year.

Emmit DeHart

Emmit DeHart is a junior in Yeshiva College, where he is double majoring in Political Science and History. After graduating, he plans to attend law school and hopes to pursue a legal career in corporate litigation. On campus, he is actively involved in student leadership and academic life. In addition to writing for The Clarion, he serves as a chair for YUNMUN, sits on the board of YUPAC, works as a writer and editor for the YU Undergraduate Law Review, and is a member of the Jacob Hecht Pre-Law Society.

Gabriel Simon-Hakalir

Gabriel Simon-Hakalir is a Junior majoring in political science from Chicago, Illinois. He is the co-founder and master of the Yeshiva University Alpha Epsilon Pi chapter. He carries a passion for leadership and problem-solving.

Meira Berkowitz

Meira Berkowitz is a Junior majoring in Political Science with hopes to enter the law and nonprofit spaces. She is a contributor for the YU Observer, a member of the YUPAC Education Committee, and was an Admin Assistant on her first YUNMUN experience this year. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, hanging out with friends, spending time outside, and telling herself she’ll go to sleep earlier tomorrow night.

Amichai Greenberg

Amichai Greenberg is from Potomac, Maryland. He is a junior majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy. He is a Campus Fellow for the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, doing photography, and playing board games. Amichai plans to pursue a career in law or public policy.

Mikey Neusner

Mikey Neusner is a senior at Yeshiva University, majoring in Strategy & Entrepreneurship. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, he spent two years studying at Yeshivat HaKotel before moving to New York for college. On campus, he serves as a Head Resident Advisor, where he plays a role in building community and supporting students. After graduation, he plans to work as a paralegal.

Talia Isaacs

Talia Isaacs is a Political Science major and Women’s Studies minor from Teaneck, NJ, on the pre-law track. She’s also on the editorial board of the YU Undergraduate Law Review, as well as involved in the Students Against Domestic Abuse club on campus. In her free time, she enjoys writing and engaging in political activism.

Ashley Hefner

Ashley Hefner is a senior at Yeshiva University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Political Science. She is a Staff Writer for The YU Observer and an ORA Campus Fellow. She is interested in law and public policy and is hoping to attend law school in Fall 2027.

Aiden Harow

Aiden Harow is a Senior majoring in Political Science and minoring in Business. He also serves as President of the Yeshiva Student Union, Managing Editor of the YU Undergraduate Law Review, and Co-Head of Education at the YU Political Action Committee. In his spare time, you can find him singing with the Y-Studs, playing sports, learning, or watching the Celtics.
